Bound manuscript of 179 leaves, comprising 42 manuscript tracts critical of the Jesuits, including 2 folding leaves with watercolors depicting the imprisonment and executions of the Jesuits Gabriel Malagrida and Miguel Calvo. Written in two or more hands, the texts, recounting events of the 18th century through 1765, were likely copied from various sources. As evidenced by the spine title, this is the second volume in a collection about which no further information is known....
